2. How the Extension Works

The Extension operates entirely within your browser:

It reads comment text already rendered on the YouTube page you are viewing.
All search, filtering, and TF-IDF analysis runs locally in your browser tab.
Comment text is never sent to a server and is discarded when you close the panel or navigate away.

3. Permissions

The Extension requests the following browser permissions:

activeTab — used solely to identify the active YouTube tab when the keyboard shortcut is pressed. No tab data is stored or transmitted.
Host permission (youtube.com) — required to inject the search panel UI into YouTube watch pages. The Extension only activates on https://www.youtube.com/watch* URLs.

4. Third-Party Services

The Extension does not communicate with any third-party service. It does not embed advertising networks, analytics platforms, or external APIs of any kind.

5. Children's Privacy

The Extension does not collect data from anyone, including children under 13. No special measures are required because no data is collected at all.
